3.4 Template List

3.4.1 Create Template

  • Example scenario: Under the "HR Tasks – Business Travel" category, create a process template named "Employee Business Travel Request."

  • Prerequisite:
    The "Create" feature supports creating a blank template or directly using a template synchronized from the Template Store. To use a template from the Template Store, you must first enable the "Process Management" switch in the Template Store.

  • Instructions:

    a) Under the corresponding template category, click "Create" in the upper right corner.

    b) Create Template Settings Page:
    i. Template Name: Name the process template "Employee Travel Request."
    ii. Template ID: The unique identifier of the template. The code is automatically generated upon creation and can be modified.
    iii. Table Name: The name of the main form table, automatically filled and editable.
    iv. Template Icon: Configure the template icon using built-in system icons.
    v. Category
    vi. Template Status: Defaults to "Draft." After the template is published, the status changes to "Published." When the template is disabled, the status changes to "Disabled."
    vii. Sort Number: Sets the order displayed in the Process Template Settings page.

c) Switch to the Permission Tab to configure permissions:
i. Maintainers: Set permissions for editing and deleting this template, as well as managing the main documents under this template (if left empty, the creator and authorized personnel can edit).
ii. Users: Set permissions for initiating process using this template (if left empty, everyone can use it).
